M/S Ounas Skipper Heikki Niskanen

​

Heikki is boatbuilder, forest and nature guide and freelancer. First time he was rowing boats at age of  five (5). Since then he has been doing various treks, projects and trips around Finland and various places on earth. Most memorable places are Vuoksi lakesides in Finland, lake Baikal in Siberia Russia, North Atlantic shores on Norway and Pacific Peru.

First time he was guiding customer at early 90s at river Ounas as a junior helper. Fate or pure coincidence lead him to M/S Ounas, which he is sailing now in the middle of Finnish lakeland area.
